Terms of Service
These are the terms for using Minder. They're written to be read: what the service is, what it isn't, what you're responsible for, and what we are. By creating an account you agree to them.
01The agreement
These Terms are between you and CodexaAI(“we”, “us”), the operator of Minder. By ticking the box at signup and using Minder, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t create an account.
02What Minder is — and isn't
Minder helps you track the personal obligations that carry real consequences — visa, Emirates ID, trade licence, car registration, and the bills that can’t slip — and reminds you before they’re due. That is the whole of it.
- Minder is a personal tool. It does not renew, file, pay, or submit anything to any government body, insurer, or authority on your behalf.
- Minder is not the official record. The authoritative date for your visa or licence is the one held by the issuing authority. A date in Minder is a copy you entered or we interpreted — helpful, but not a legal source of truth.
- Minder does not give legal, financial, or immigration advice. It organises what you tell it; it doesn’t counsel you on it.
03Your account
Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your email — there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, since anyone who can receive your mail can request a link. Tell us at hello@codexaai.io if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else. You must be at least 18 and use Minder for your own genuine obligations.
04Your content, and your responsibility for it
The obligations and documents you add remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service for you — to store, encrypt, display back to you, and process your content as described in the Privacy Policy (including sending the relevant text to our language-model provider to interpret what you type).
- You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Because Minder isn’t the official record, always verify a critical date against the issuing authority.
- You agree to upload only documents you have the right to store, and not to misuse the service — no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload, or probe the system.
05Reminders are a helping hand, not a guarantee
Minder does its best to remind you in good time, but reminders depend on things partly outside our control — email delivery, correct dates, a working address. A missed reminder, a delayed email, or a date you entered wrongly can happen. The ultimate responsibility for meeting your deadlines is yours. Minder is a tool to reduce the chance you forget, not a promise that you never will.
06Beta service
Minder is offered in Beta, “as is” and “as available”, free of charge at this stage. Features may change and occasional interruptions can occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, and our liability to you for any loss connected with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it (which, during a free Beta, is nil). Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
07Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from your Settings; access ends immediately and your data is erased after the 30-day grace period described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end an account that misuses the service or puts others’ data at risk — where we reasonably can, we’ll tell you why.
08Changes, and the law that applies
We may update these Terms; when we make a material change we’ll update this page and its version, and ask you to agree again where that’s needed. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the UAE will have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions? Email hello@codexaai.io.
